Education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is a key to escaping poverty in rural communities. By increasing access to education especially through English and computer learning, we believe students even in the rural parts of NK can have fair opportunities to improve their livelihood.
With creative and interactive teaching resources, we currently have established an after school program in a rural community of China with a goal to educate local students to rise and become tomorrow’s leaders who will make their communities a better place to live.
While teaching knowledge (the Truth) to empower our students to live life in their fullness (John 8:31) and showing life examples as a follower of Jesus Christ by loving and encouraging them not to conform to the patterns of the world (Romans’ 12:1-2), we hope that gospel transformation will take place.
With this vision, we are also training and equipping our teachers to extend themselves to be involved in this education transformation endeavor in NK.
